Art Fest

We are excited about hosting the Spring Art Fest at Bella on May 8th. We have gathered a group of talented artists to share their work with you. This will be a great opportunity to see their creations and do a little shopping (don’t forget Mother’s Day is May 9th!).

Emily Blaser and Grace Chin will be back with us for this event. Both artists have new jewelry to show, along with past favorites. Emily gets her inspiration from many sources, from Severance Hall to lace doilies – and her jewelry is always creative and daring. Grace Chin has incorporated gold vermeil into her latest work. Grace’s sleek and lovely designs explore the interplay between architecture and design. Many Bella customers fell in love with her work when she joined us last July for the sterling event.

Artisan jewelers Grace Stokes and Michael Romanik will be here for the May event - their first time showing at Bella. Grace is an exceptional artist with skills in metalwork and beading. Some of her pieces include elements she sculpts from polymer clay. Grace is inspired by the beautiful stones she finds and creates her jewelry to enhance their natural beauty. The colors of fox turquoise and lavender agate become even more beautiful set in Grace’s designs.

Award winning enamellist, Michael Romanik works in cloisonné set in both sterling silver and gold. Gorgeous colors and fine detail are evident in his work. His sources for inspiration range from the designs found in ancient civilizations to the natural world of birds and plants. Check out the photo of his jewelry on our home page (www. belladesignjewelers.com).

Artist Mark Sudduth will share his hand blown and sculptural glass, also. Mark has shown his pieces at Bella in the past. During this event, we will have the opportunity to see a wider selection of his work. The saturated colors and layers of hand formed glass in Mark’s work are stunning.

Join us on May 8th to see all the artists in person and enjoy their work.
